With a jam-packed schedule of shooting for five films in the last three months and another six still on the cards, you might think that actor Indrajith would be close to his burnout point. But the truth is quite the contrary.
In fact, the actor, who is currently shooting for Amal Neerad's Bachelor Party, is in high spirits and having a whale of a time at that. He thanks his co-stars for the experience.
It's a wild and freaky film and there is hardly a moment when we're not having fun, he says. We've shot in Munnar and Kochi, and when you are working with jovial people like Kalabhavan Mani and Vinayakan, it's a chilled and relaxed atmosphere.
The actor is also excited about the flick, which also stars Asif Ali, Rahman and Prithviraj, as it once again promises the director's signature touch. His films always present its heroes with so much style and elan, and Bachelor Party is no different, he adds.
Incidentally, Indrajith's next venture Husbands in Goa also features a young, fun-loving cast and is set in Kochi and Panaji. His role of a docile husband in it would be one among the several humorous characters that he would be playing this year, he beams, adding, My comic roles have always reached out to the audience.
Despite the large number of roles that he is bagging and overlapping schedules, the actor says that he has never had the difficulty in transforming into his required character while facing the camera.
Though he rues that his schedule is causing him to miss out on quality time with his children, he says, In Malayalam cinema, you are forced to be versatile because you do six to eight films a year and you have to be mentally prepared to adapt accordingly.
