Urumi’s premiere show was held at the Four Frames Theatre in Chennai recently. The celebrities spotted at this show were Arya, Yuva, Prasanna, Jayam Ravi, Sibiraj, Bharath, Deepak Dev, Malgudi Subha, Swetha Mohan, UTV Dhananjayan, Ashwin Sekar, Santhosh Sivan and others.
The Tamil version of the film to hit the screens on August 15th 2011. Urumi stars Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Genelia D'Souza, Nithya Menon, Jagathy Sreekumar, and Alexx ONell. Deepak Dev has scored the music. Santhosh Sivan, apart from handling the camera, has also directed this film. Urumi has been jointly produced by Prithviraj, Santosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan.
